Description

We love Chardonnay because you can get so much out of it, and it has so many faces… it can be light and vibrantly fruity, or serious and buttery-rich. One thing is certain: it is never one-dimensional or boring! Our barrique-aged Chardonnay is a full, complex, truly full-bodied wine with a rich palate. Alongside ripe pear and apricot, the vanilla, walnut and almond notes from the barrel dominate, with a pinch of pepper. It has kept its fine acid structure in the barrel, too. Its high extract and glycerol content make it very round and oily – every sip is a real experience! A special wine… for special occasions!

Food pairing: more richly spiced fish, poultry or even veal dishes, wild mushrooms; heavenly with roast duck, and even with foie gras!

Serving temperature: 12–13 °C
